NEW REFEREES
If you wish to become a USSF referee, you will need to be certified and you must be 13 yrs of age to work for the Reston/Great Falls Joint Referee Program. Your first step is to go to the state website at www.vadcsoccerref.com, click on Clinics (area is North, type is New Referee) to find the right class for your availability. This is an 18 hour class and you must attend all sessions. Once you have determined which clinic best fits your schedule, you will then need to go to Registration; this is involved but take your time.
The Reston/Great Falls Joint Referee Program will be
offering a new Grade 8 certification for those looking to begin working as an

sessions.
The dates are August 17, 18, 19 and 20, from 6:30-9:30 pm
and on Saturday, August 21 from 9:00-1:00, to be held at the Reston Community

or take a couple of days). At that time, you will need to go to the state
referee website at www.vadcsoccerref.com,
click on Clinics to view the list of available classes and read the
comments section carefully for registration instructions. Once you have registered for a class, you will then need to
register in the clubs' database so that you can start receiving communications
from me. This is also how I will know that you are interested in working
games. Go to www.restonsoccer.org,
click on Registration, click on Referees and follow the prompts. If you have any questions, please contact me, Luanne Grabski Referee Assignor
