Great Falls Soccer Club is dedicated to providing a local community soccer program for all players in the Great Falls, Virginia area – no matter the age or skill level of the player.  Our programs include Little Kickers (3/4 year olds), a "House League" program for the recreational player U5-U10 (the "U" stands for UNDER), participation in the Suburban Friendship League (SFL) for recreational players U11-U17, and over 25 travel teams (U9-U17) playing in three different local travel leagues - National Capital Soccer League  (NCSL),  Washington Area Girls Soccer (WAGS) and Old Dominion Soccer League (ODSL).

Great Falls Soccer Club partners with OneCause for Fundraising Support

Online Shopping with OneCauseGFSC is partnering with OneCause to earn cash-back contributions through our membership’s everyday purchases at hundreds of name-brand merchants online. GFSC members are invited to join the OneCause program to where a percentage of their everyday purchases made through merchant supporters of OneCause can make a difference for our Club. Go to www.onecause.com using our Club’s organization number, 147941, or click on the logo above to sign up. Simply fill out your profile, choose our club, choose your preferences. Every time you are making on on-line purchase go to the OneCause website first to see if they are a participating merchant and click on the website you wish to purchase from. From there everything is automatically accounted for-there is nothing else to do. Our local merchants and service providers who aren’t already participating in the OneCause program are also encouraged to enroll. It’s a great way to win loyal customers, increase retention and support our Club. Thank-you for your support of Great Falls Soccer.

CROSS TRAINING INFORMATION FOR FALL

· 5:30-7:00 PM ( Oct 22 time may be adjusted 1/2 hour earlier)

FALL Season Updates - Recreational Soccer

RECREATIONAL SOCCER FALL REGISTRATION STATUS:

On Time Registration for fall 2008 ended on August 1st with the exception of our Little Kickers program, however we still have space open in some age groups. Late registrations are charged $50 each; please do not ask us to waive this fee.

The following age groups are full and will not accept any players:

U8 Coed

U9/10 Girls (Coed has openings but is 100% boys currently)

U13 Boys

U15/16 Boys

U17/18 Boys

U17/18 Girls

The following age groups do have some room and are currently accepting players in wait list mode (Age Group Coordinators will move them to active status quickly):

U6

U7

U8 Girls

U9/10 Coed

U11 Girls and Boys

U12 Girls

U13 Girls

U14 Boys and Girls

Players will be contacted by coaches between 8/14-8/30.  DO NOT contact us because you have not heard from a coach as these messages will not get a response unless it is after 8/30. Please understand that Age Group Coordinators and Coaches are all volunteers and go on vacation and have families to get ready for school etc – they are doing their very best to get information to you as rapidly as possible.

We are currently working on game schedules and hope to post those by 8/28.  Our process is complicated by the number of late registrants (we offer substantial discounts to encourage families to register early!).

Players (all ages) need soccer cleats, shin guards, a ball, and water bottle in addition to their uniform kit.  We recommend Sterling Soccer (Clock Tower plaza off Route 7) for all purchases (ask for a Great Falls discount) but Models, Dick’s, Sports Authority all carry youth soccer gear.

If you have any questions please email us at administrator@greatfallssoccer.com or directly to an Age Group Coordinator (listed via a link in the right hand margin box).
